Exciting News from the Candle!

Candle 79
We are thrilled to announce that our new restaurant, Candle 79, is open for lunch and dinner daily, with a special brunch menu on Sundays. Located at 154 East 79th Street, near the corner of Lexington Avenue, our newest dining hot spot proves to be an exciting culinary destination with delicious fare for all.

Special Events at Candle 79

The new space, originally designed by renowned architect, Larry Bogdonow, is warm and inviting. French doors open onto East 79th Street, a beautiful boulevard-like block, perfect for relaxing, eating and people-watching.

In addition to the elegant restaurant space, Candle Cafe 79 has wonderful party rooms perfect for weddings, showers, birthday parties, children's parties and private dinners for business or pleasure. The space, which can accommodate up to 125 people, is also the site of many exciting upcoming events.

We hold cooking classes, demonstrations and lectures by guest chefs from all over the country in addition to hosting informative dinners, fundraisers and tastings there. Check back often for events and programs!
